Mistakes happen. If you punt someone of track by your mistake. Let the person rejoin in front of you. Not doing this can result in a hefty penalty
Rules for getting punted and rejoining
Both cars are required to rejoin safely.
If the punted off car does not move within 3 seconds after a full stand still you're allowed to drive ahead. This does exclude from rejoining safely. You still have to let the car rejoin in front of you even if that means the punted needs to leave later.
