🚗 Car Classes

LMH (Hypercar)Single Class

LMH will run as one unified class — no Pro/Silver split.

LMH Entry Requirements

To ensure safe, high-quality Hypercar racing, LMH entries are restricted to drivers who meet at least one of the following:

Have raced in a Full Throttle Racing F1 league
Have competed in a previous LMU season (in GT3 or otherwise)
OR provide proof of minimum SR S1 and DR S1 from LMU’s official online servers

This approach keeps LMH standards high while still giving capable new drivers a clear path to join.

If you don’t yet qualify — join us in GT3, or jump into our socials to show you’re safe and consistent.

Why?

LMH cars demand strong awareness, consistency, and the ability to manage traffic safely. In the past, we’ve seen problems when drivers with little multi-class experience jumped straight into Hypercars — which created avoidable issues for everyone on track.

These entry requirements aren’t about gatekeeping; they’re about protecting the quality of racing across all classes.

We know some leagues run fully open LMH grids — we prefer a standard that ensures safe, predictable driving at the highest class.

If you want to race LMH but don’t meet the experience criteria yet, you still have a clear path in:
👉 Join our GT3 class or our social events and show clean, sensible racecraft
👉 Or provide proof of minimum SR S1 and DR S1 from LMU’s own online servers

Admins reserve the right to deny LMH entry if driving standards or safety expectations are not met.

LMGT3

GT3 will run with two categories, plus an overall GT3 standings table:

  • PRO/AM
  • AM

Admins may reassign drivers to a more suitable category if we believe someone is attempting to compete below their natural level.

Blue Flags, Lapping & Stewarding

Multi-class racing lives or dies by how lapping is handled. To be absolutely clear:

  • The responsibility to overtake safely always lies with the faster car.
  • Faster-class cars must:
  • Plan overtakes with respect and patience.
  • Avoid divebombing slower cars, especially on corner entry.
  • Remember that GT3 cars will often out-brake LMH/LMP cars into corners.
  • Prioritise completing passes on straights, not under braking or mid-corner.

  •  Slower-class cars must:
    1. Hold a predictable racing line when being lapped.
    2. Not make sudden or reactive moves.
    3. Only move off-line if they are making it exceptionally clear which side they are yielding.
    4. Avoid lifting or moving mid-corner.
    5. Lapping should be completed on straights wherever possible, not into or during corners. Blue flags are informational — they do not grant the faster car the right to force a move.
  • Stewarding & Incident Review
Due to stewarding capacity, we will not automatically review every lapping or overtaking manoeuvre during a race. If you believe a lapping-related incident was unsafe or unfair, it must be reported via the official protest process for it to be reviewed. If it isn’t reported, it won’t be investigated. This is a community-driven series — we rely on drivers to help us help you. Remember:
    1. This is not the World Championship.
    2. There is nothing to gain from forcing a risky move.
    3. Respectful racing keeps the series enjoyable for everyone.
  •  Our admin team is well versed in how to race fairly; and if you need any advice/coaching then do please reach out. We’re all in this together — let’s race hard, race fair, and get everyone to the finish.
