Welcome to the driven minds lmgt3 challenge season two powered by coach dave delta
We have partnered up with the mental health charity Driven Minds to promotE good mental health and a healthy mindset to the sim racing part of UK motorsport. We are delighted to to be working with them and supporting their mission.

Trophies sent to the home of our Season Two Champion + 2nd and 3rd places. The drivers will also vote for their Driver of the Championship who will also receive a trophy.
RACE DAY FORMAT Please note all time are shown in BST (UTC+1)
- Early practice server up at 5pm for 2 hours
- Race 1 server up at 7pm with a 85 minute practice session
- Qualifying at 8:25pm - 5 minute private hyperpole style
- Race 1 at 8:30pm - 30 minute daytime race
- Race 2 server up at 9:10pm with a 5 minute joining practice
- Qualifying at 9:15pm - 5 minute private hyperpole style
- Race 2 at 9:20pm - 30 minute night race
Real world weather conditions used.
2 drop rounds and 3 sign outs allowed.
Success Ballast
To keep the racing close and the championship competitive across the grid, we've introduced a success ballast system for this season.
Each round features two races, and ballast will be applied based on total points scored across both races. The top 5 point scorers will carry ballast into the next round:
1st highest points scored +40 kg
2nd highest points scored +32 kg
3rd highest points scored +24 kg
4th highest points scored +16 kg
5th highest points scored +8 kg
Carryover Bonus:
If a driver carries success ballast from a previous round and finishes in the top 5 for points again, they will receive an extra +5 kg on top of their earned ballast and for every round that they socre enough points to finish in the top 5.

If you are unable to make a race please sign out of the round in the 'races' tab. If you fail to sign out it will affect your SimGrid attendance ratio and could prevent you from entering races. If you fail to turn up or sign out of 3 rounds you will automatically be disqualified from the championship.
We have a transparent and robust stewarding process. Stewards will automatically look at any contact incidents from lap one. Anything from lap two onwards requires a incident report form. Stewarding is recorded and posted on GRDC TV for full transparency on how the stewards come to a decision.
Please note that we will be adding in any new track(s) that arrive in the May update so Round 6 will most likely be the round that is changed. More details once the update is out.
